City Nature Challenge 2024 Results!

The final results are in!

Globally, the City Nature Challenge made 2,436,844 observations from 65,682+ species, including more than 3,940+ rare/endangered/threatened species!

In London, we made 4135 observations from 852 different species and had 163 participants. That puts us in 3rd in Ontario, 9th in Canada and 127th globally out of 690 cities!

Thanks again to everybody that participated! I hope that you enjoyed having the chance to get out in nature and appreciate the biodiversity that we have here in London.

Although the City Nature Challenge has wrapped, please don't forget that you can continue to make iNaturalist observations year-round to help document our local species.

I hope to see you out again for the City Nature Challenge in 2025!
